Dr. Lee Aberle, ND, is a 2001 graduate of National College of Natural Medicine, which is considered to be one of America’s top medical schools by the Princeton Review. Before attending medical school Dr. Aberle worked for the University of Minnesota’s Department of Surgical Medicine doing NIH research into wound healing. As a medical student she was one of the first class of interns at the nation's only Naturopathic Cardiac clinic, a research assistant to the science director of Health Notes, and provided medical care at free clinics for the needy and homeless.
She has extensive clinical experience, having worked at the Grand Forks and Fargo Naturopathic clinics, Itasca Naturopathic Clinic, Stillpointe Natural Health, the Dynamic Healing Centers in Alexandria and Fergus Falls and at her main clinic, Edgewater Natural Family Medicine, in Saint Cloud. She is experienced in pain management, Frequency Specific Micro-current, Naturopathic Medicine, Functional Medicine, diet and nutrition, metabolic disease, chronic disease, lifestyle modification and healthy weight loss. Dr. Aberle founded Edgewater Natural Family Medicine with a mind to move it into the forefront of integrated care in central Minnesota. Currently she is one of the supervising doctors of Minnesota’s first Naturopathic Doctor Residency Program where she oversees the training of graduating physicians. This year Dr. Aberle will be participating in an ongoing international study of Homeo-prophylaxis, an alternative to conventional vaccination.
Dr. Aberle is the president of Natural Lee Speaking, INC, a health education company, a founding member of Providing Alternatives Towards Health (PATH), is a member of the Minnesota Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and is Minnesota’s first Registered Naturopathic Doctor. Currently Dr. Aberle is serving as a member of the advisory panel for naturopathic medicine for the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Lee works as a general and family practitioner and her clients range from patients wanting to complement their conventional treatment to people looking to improve their quality of life, to those who have not found relief from chronic or metabolic conditions including but not limited to cancer, heart disease, diabetes, pain, weight gain and loss, surgical recovery, hormone issues, women’s health, family care, and a host of other conditions that don’t respond to conventional therapy.
